Finance Department
The Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD) Finance Department is responsible for planning, managing, and implementing the defense establishment's financial activities.

The Department’s Primary Operations and Services
1. Planning and managing the defense budget.
2. Allocating resources per budgetary considerations.
3. Supervising and auditing the defense establishment's use of financial resources, as defined in the defense budget and following the budget law.
4. Conducting financial transactions on behalf of the IMOD.
5. Financial counsel – ensuring compliance with rules and regulations established in various agreements.
6. Managing financial registries and accounting and financial statements for the defense establishment.
