IMOD Mission to the United States
The Israel Ministry of Defense Mission (IMOD) to the United States is at the forefront of the Ministry’s procurements funded with Foreign Military Financing, operating in a manner that exemplifies the values of integrity, professionalism, excellence, and the nurturing of its human resources, all in service of the Israel Defense Forces, the Israeli Defense Establishment, and the State of Israel.

The Mission efficiently performs procurement for the Israel Defense Forces and helps to strengthen Israel's security in times of routine and crisis. The Mission maintains close ties with the U.S. Government and is the IMOD's central source of knowledge for procurements funded with foreign military financing.
The Mission’s Primary Operations and Services
1. Maintaining and strengthening IDF operational capabilities through FMF-funded procurements in the U.S.
2. Involvement in discussions with U.S. officials regarding U.S. Security Assistance for Israel.
3. Providing administrative services for Israeli Defense Establishment personnel in the U.S.
4. Providing rehabilitation services for injured IDF veterans.
5. Responsibility for an annual budget of millions of dollars.
6. Processing thousands of purchase orders annually.
7. Transporting thousands of shipping lots annually.
8. Processing thousands of invoices annually.
