Israel and Argentina Sign G2G Agreement for IWI's ARAD Rifles
6/10/2026

Under a Government-to-Government (G2G) agreement led by the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD) International Defense Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT), Argentina's Armed Forces have selected IWI's ARAD 5 and ARAD 7 rifles.
Argentina's Ministry of Defense formally presented the rifles this week as part of the modernization of its individual weapons capabilities. Equipped with Meprolight M5 red-dot sights, the ARAD joins the arsenals of military and law enforcement customers worldwide.
This agreement directly advances IMOD's strategy of expanding defense exports as a key pillar for securing the IDF's force buildup, shaping policy, and strengthening Israel's defense industry and economy.
