Israel MOD Continues its Airlift and Sealift Operations of Military Equipment and Armaments to Israel

19/6/2025

Today (Thursday), cargo aircraft carrying military equipment for the defense establishment landed in Israel. This is part of strengthening operational continuity and supporting all IDF requirements, both for achieving war objectives and for improving readiness.

Since the launch of Operation Rising Lion, 14 aircraft with military equipment have landed in Israel, joining over 800 aircraft that have arrived in the country as part of the IMOD’s airlift since the outbreak of the war in October, 2023.
This joint operation is coordinated by the IMOD’s Defense Procurement Directorate (DPD) via the International Defense Transportation Unit, in collaboration with the IMOD’s Mission to the U.S., the IDF Planning and Force Build-Up Directorate, and the Israeli Air Force (IAF).
