New Israel Defense Minister First Work Meeting with Israel MOD Director General

 Israel Defense Minister Israel Katz held his first work meeting today (Monday) with the Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Maj. Gen. (Res.) Eyal Zamir.

The Director General briefed the Defense Minister on the Ministry's extensive activities during the current war, focusing on ensuring the IDF's long-term operational sustainability in a prolonged multi-front campaign and maintaining domestic “Blue and White” production independence.

During the meeting, Director General Zamir requested that his role be concluded in the coming period. At the Defense Minister's request, it was agreed that the Director General would continue in his position at this time.
