IMOD Director General Convened the CEOs of Four Major Defense Industries for a Situation Assessment and Lessons Learned Following Operation Rising Lion

Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD) Director General Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram convened the CEOs of IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries), Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Elbit Systems, and Tomer LTD to participate in a situation assessment and lessons-learned discussion following Operation Rising Lion.

During the meeting, senior Defense Ministry officials presented the defense industry leaders with a pol-mil situation assessment and the new opportunities and threats created in light of the operation's achievements. The Director General also provided updates on the status of the procurement and force-building plan currently being formulated.

IMOD Director General, Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram: "The military achievement in Iran has created complex new challenges. We are witnessing Iran's efforts to recover and launch a comprehensive global force-building campaign. We must respond with equal urgency and develop an accelerated strategy for the coming year and the critical defense decade ahead. Time is of the essence."
