Israel MOD Lead Tour of Advanced Defense Technologies for Hungarian Defense Minister

The Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD)’s International Defense Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT) led an official tour this week showcasing advanced Israeli Defense-Tech solutions for Hungary’s Minister of Defense, Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, as part of his official visit to Israel.

During the tour, headed by SIBAT Director Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yair Kulas, the minister, and his delegation were presented with cutting-edge Israeli defense technologies, including unmanned aerial systems (UAS), defense systems, and combat capabilities.

Nine leading Israeli defense industries participated in the tour, including Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), Elbit Systems, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Bagira, Omnisys, Bird Aerosystems, Israel Weapon Industries (IWI), D-Fend, and UVision.

The Hungarian Defense Minister was accompanied by Hungary’s Deputy Chief of General Staff, the Head of Hungary’s Ministry of Defense Procurement Directorate, and other senior officials.

The official visit was led by the IMOD’s Policy and Pol-Mil Bureau, reflecting the close defense cooperation between Israel and Hungary. The visit is part of the Ministry’s strategy to expand defense exports and strengthen international partnerships.
